Opening the door to the soul is deep inner work. Our day to day routines, as well as the glitter and sparkle of our material world, create many distractions moving us away from discovering who we truly are, which is why I have created an intimate and contemplative retreat experience in a soulful space of beauty.

Etamba House
Etamba House presides over the paddy fields in Yatagala, Sri Lanka, a 15 minute tuk tuk drive from the beach life of Unawatuna.
Its white, symmetrical beauty instills instant calm, offering so many places to be still; comfy chairs on the verandah, lush green grass, rock seats under the Etamba tree, or a sun-bed lounger around the pool.
This soulful spacious house, with so many doors, welcomes in nature, from the cheeky peacocks to the cacophony of exotic birdsong. Its pure whiteness creates the perfect backdrop for the vibrant greenery & bright flower colours on display outside. The longer you stay, the more doors will open, and the subtleties of life will slowly move in.

These are your only fixed daily commitments.
One of the distinguishing features of your time here will be the time given to contemplation. There will be occasional contemplative circles where we come together and discuss. This allows you to listen, dropping all judgements or opinions, opening a door to a fresh take on reality.

Packages
Etamba House has three very spacious bedrooms, all with huge ensuite bathrooms.
Two packages are available; private or shared.
The bed is king size, however, there is the possibility of adding a single bed if you are sharing but prefer a separate bed.
There is also the opportunity to stay longer, if you wish to extend your stay, either before and/or after the retreat.
